OLG Brandenburg: Gebühr für gewerbliche Fotos von Preußischen Schlössern und Gärten unzulässig — Higher Regional Court of Brandenburg, Germany: Fee for commercial pictures of Prussian castles and gardens is illegitimate

“Sans souci” heißt “sorgenfrei”, und ohne rechtliche Sorgen können Fotografen wieder u.a. das gleichnamige Schloss fotografieren und die  Aufnahmen kommerziell verwerten.

“Sans souci” means “free from worry”, and from now on photographers are allowed to take pictures of the castle with the same name and to commercialise them without any legal worries.

    Es gibt immer noch die Möglichkeit der Revision vor dem BGH. Und wie
    ich diese “Stiftung” einschätze, werden sie das probieren. Letztendlich
    ist es ja für sie ohne Risiko – zahlt doch alles der Steuerzahler.
